Member News: Landing School Receives School of Excellence Award

Arundel, ME – July 17, 2014 – The Landing School is pleased to announce that the school has been selected to receive a School of Excellence Award from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges. According to a letter from Executive Director Dr. Michale McComis this award “recognizes schools for their commitment to the expectations and rigors of ACCSC accreditation, as well as efforts in maintaining high-level of achievement among their students. In order to be eligible for the award, a school must meet all of the eligibility criteria established by the Commission for its School of Distinction Award and a majority of the school’s graduation and employment rates from all programs offered must meet or exceed the average rates of graduation and employment among all ACCSC accredited institutions.”

“Accreditation is an incredibly important part of a school’s culture and quality control” DeColfmacker said “and this award is a testament to the quality and dedication of the entire Landing School community. I thank all members of this great faculty, staff and student body who helped us achieve this recognition.”
