Brooklin, ME— September 5, 2013— The American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) invites all 2013 IBEX exhibitors to Compliance and Standards Coffee on Wednesday, September 18 from 8 – 10 a.m. to network with compliance experts while enjoying free coffee and pastries.
Compliance leaders will be on hand to talk about topics such as the Standards and Technical Information Report for Small Craft Supplement 53 that was released in July 2013, CE and ISO compliance, and much more!
“This is a perfect time to pick the minds of those who work in standards, regulations and compliance,” said John Adey, ABYC President. “One of the hot topics this year has been news around tri-fuel testing and stability research so those conversations will be raised.”
When: Wednesday, September 18, 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.
Where: The Compliance Pavilion on the IBEX Show floor
What: FREE Coffee and Pastries
Why: FOR EXHIBITORS/ATTENDEES to learn about new compliance rules and regulations, and speak directly with leading experts.
“The IBEX Compliance and Standards Coffee is a unique networking opportunity for exhibitors and attendees,” said Kate Holden, IBEX Marketing Director. “In its third year now, this event has become very popular due to the invaluable conversations and information that is exchanged over coffee.”
Compliance and Standards Coffee begins one hour before the show opens to allow exhibitors more personal attention and meaningful conversations without interrupting booth business. The free refreshments will extend until 10 a.m. for show attendees who are interested in spending some time with compliance experts.
